Terrible's Travel Center

"This place is fantastic ... a hidden gem as you're leaving before the Reno/Sparks area. Actually, the location couldn't be any better! As you pull into Fernley from the west, you'll see Love's and Pilot, but it's worth carrying on for six more minutes to this place. What I loved about this place is the convenience factor. Everything's there ... like a not-so-little traveler's oasis. The 24-hour Denny's is huge and very, very handy for anyone pulling into the area during the night. The lot is MASSIVE with plenty of RV and truck, parking, People are dusting the slots, actively stocking the convenience store, quick service in the restaurant, and spotless bathrooms. It's hard to find places like this. Great job!"

"Spotsworth's Review's The Good and the Bad: Terrible's Casino Well now I know where it gets the name, All jokes aside, Overall its not a bad place for a pit stop but the casino side of things has some ehhs. The Good: The casino is actually pretty small yet its nice and has atmosphere. A nice selection of casino games. Access to Denny's which isn't that bad and gas station. What's really cool is the bar, yet it has a pretty notable down side which I'll cover. and the casino floor is well kept and clean. The Bad: The biggest downside to this place is the customer service and management. While I was here I gambled a bit and sat down at the bar. I noticed the bar looks stocked but has a very limited selection and for its size and looks... its pretty bare bones. Tony was the Bar tender and I later found out she was the manager and the whole time I waited for a drink ~ 15 mins. finally she came over and served me a drink and it wasn't that great and the bar seemed empty and bare bones for a Friday night despite the traffic and felt unwelcoming. But a light shined at the end of this tunnel and its the reason I give it a 3 Stars instead of 2. The night shift bartender came on and his name was Rich. This guy is awesome! He's obviously a local favorite because when he got on. People poured in. Bar was full and everyone was having a good time. One of the coolest bartenders I have ever met! Lastly the bathrooms are horrid. Between the truckers and the tweakers from the hwy coming in to hit some smack in the handicap stall. I would have ran away from the place if it wasn't for the awesome bartender. Overall this place is a meh. Visit when Rich is in the bar!"
