"This is the first Google review I have ever written. I felt the need to warn others with my own experience. I signed up for an Aura Reading for my birthday because it sounded like fun. I tried calling them first because I was hesitant to pay online before ever speaking to anybody. Nobody answered, so I booked it online for the only available time and was promptly sent an email confirmation of my appointment. On the morning of my appointment, I arrived at the Reno location and was greeting by a young lady who stared at me somewhat blankly when I told her I had an 11am appointment for an Aura Reading. She asked if I signed up for a virtual or in-person reading (in-person, hence why I was at the shop). She went on to tell me that Diane (the name the email confirmation gave me) was no longer a part of RPI and, in fact, they hadn’t been doing Aura Readings on Saturdays for some time now. (Then WHY is this an option on your website?!). She was unable to reach Diane or any of the other readers, so she offered to schedule me for a Psychic Reading on another day. I recalled seeing that the prices for Psychic Readings were significantly more than the Aura Readings, so I asked her if it would be an equal exchange. (Because, ya know, they were the ones who botched my appointment). She hesitated and said she would “have to look into that.” So obviously, I declined to set up another appointment. She kept trying to offer me Mondays or Wednesdays, when they do Aura Readings now, but none of the times fit my work schedule (another reason why I booked this for a Saturday!). I asked for my money back and she told me she was new and didn’t know how to refund me. She took down my name and contact information and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I wasted time and money at this place and received nothing in return. Some birthday present that was! Maybe they’re great readers, maybe they’re not, but I won’t be returning to find out. I would caution others before booking (and paying ahead!) for any services here. They seriously need to update their website and provide better customer service."
