"The Human Resources Department at TMCC make health insurance for the contract instructors so difficult I’m surprised the university is able to fill those positions. When you make an appointment at HR to get help signing up for the health insurance you are supposed to get, they treat you like you are wasting their time. Healthcare is so important, but TMCC Human Resources have too much going on to take care of their employees. Must be hard to keep the good instructors. I wonder how many have left that school just because they didn’t know what benefits they were entitled to"

"I've been going to TMCC for since 2021, and I am so happy with it! I work part-time on campus while taking classes, which saves on transportation. Campus is small enough to navigate quickly between classes, and there's lots of well-kept plants and colorful flowers. All the employees and students I've met have been very nice and helpful too! Especially in the DRC, Financial Aid Office, and VRC. The buildings are gradually getting updated as well, though some of it is still a bit old fashioned. The food at Café Verde and the Coffee Bar is pretty awesome, but prices have been getting higher so I'd recommend budgeting when you want to get something hot to eat. Vending machines are all over campus though if you need a quick snack. As for studying, the Learning Commons (TMCC Dandini Library) is awesome! There's always study rooms available on the first and second floor, and research is a breeze."

"Two of the ev charging stations in the eastern parking lot have not been fixed for a long time. If this school has the nerve to tack on fees for slow charging, the stations should be operational for most of the time and be serviced regularly!"

"This school seems to be a joke from the start. I enrolled in the fall semester and scheduled a meeting with an academic advisor, because I was unsure of what classes I needed to take for what I wanted to. The website didn’t make this clear at all. I scheduled one meeting and get a call almost instantly that they need to reschedule. Ok fine. Push it back a week. 2 hours before my meeting I get called again they need to push it back another week. Here we are 5 weeks later for 9/21/2023 and no call. Great. My appointment is at 3:30-4:00 and I try to find the office. I can’t find any staff to ask and end up asking a random student. They point in my direction and I find it. Oh there’s a sign on the door saying they are closed on 9/21/2023. Why freaking schedule me for a day it’s closed! I am calling back tomorrow to try this one more time, but for a school I would be paying for an education this is a very poor start. It’s a Thursday on a non-holiday at 3:30. There’s no reasons to expect it’s closed. I’m doubting wether I want to bother with this school."

"The school always says that its open yet when you actually go there, no one is there to assist you on campus, absolutely no staff in sight. Even the school phone does not pick up which is very unacceptable because some people have no sort of transportation and have to walk there and when they come to find out that no one is there they have to walk all the way back home which is such a waste of time as well as no respect to their time as other people have other places to go please change the hours and do better."
