Church's Texas Chicken

"Out of some food items in the middle of the day. The food wasn't terribly good. This is the first time I've ever met a Mac n' Chesse I didn't like. Well, I found one now. That was disappointing. And the chicken fingers a purchased were quite small, but the breading was crunchy. The chicken was spiced nicely, and it was pretty decent overall. It was a little dry, I assume from sitting under the warming lights too long. Overall, a slightly less than 3 star experience and food. Decent meal but not a "bargin," price-wise, as the quality of the food might lead you to believe. Meaning, yes. A bit over-priced for what I got. Biscuits were HEAVENLY!! Always buy extras! Well worth their price and a fine reason to go here, even moreso than the chicken! Staff was very friendly and efficient. Overall and all things considered, a 3-star experience."

"Absolutely disgusting food. I ordered a 5pc chicken strip dinner for 2 with fried okra and mashed potatoes and gravy. Upon ordering I was told it would be a 20 min wait for fresh tenders which I thought was a good thing but it definitely wasn’t. I received an order of old refriend tenders that were all clumped up together .. the tenders had to have been recooked in old oil because they were burnt.. the okra was all clumped up together as well .. just two blobs of okra .. biscuits were burnt as well.. first time here and the experience was terrible .. definitely didn’t eat it.. a waste of time and $$"

"This use to be my favorite spot to eat until today at 5pm I juss got transfer to the ER from the restaurant the fed me raw food I order a spicy chicken sandwich and ate almost da whole sandwich in notice da sandwich meat was raw pink meat I have food poison now thanks a lot I would never eat fast food again"

"We rarely have Church’s chicken. It’s a pleasant surprise as it’s so good. We couldn’t eat inside as they were painting the interior so we bought a 4-piece and a chicken sandwich via drive through. The chicken is juicy and tasty for both original and spicy. Church’s uses different batter and I’m ok with it. The chicken sandwich is big. Bread is good. However the chicken itself is not as good. It’s a bit hard and not that tasty. I think it’s because that sandwich might not be fresh. I’ll give it a 4-star. I’ll sure give it another try in the next 2 days."
