"Excellent food. Got the catfish basket w/ fried green tomatoes, jambalaya w/ shrimp, gumbo, & blazin' chicken rolls. The heat & flavor in every dish was fantastic. Service was friendly & helpful. The wait after ordering was minimal. Food this good deserves a welcoming atmosphere to eat it. The restaurant doesn't have it yet, but I have no doubt time will show a turnaround."

"We ordered the jambalaya, seafood nachos, voodoo rolls, CRACC juice and the watermelon juice. The jambalaya was a little over seasoned and salty and seafood nachos were really over salted. The voodoo rolls barely had anything in it and had too many breading layers. It tasted more like fried dough. The juices were pretty good but really sweet. We got the large but I wish we got the smaller size instead. Overall it wasn’t too bad but not something I would get again. For the two meals, two drinks and the rolls it was about $62."

"So man I have to say I’m disappointed in bds I’ve been there over 6 times and the first few times it was absolutely amazing. But my last 3 experiences have not been good I’m not sure if they got a new cook or what’s going on. I always get the same thing the Chicken Nachos before there was chicken in every bit down to the last bite. But now they are stingy with the chicken and the jerk sauce. They just cover the top and the rest is just chips and dry. This time I also got a chicken dinner as well and the yams look burnt the Mac and cheese was not good and neither was the chicken. I always do my best to support black business but also have to let you know when you fall short. I gave them multiple times to get it right So as of now I won’t return back the service is always good the ladies always speak and take care of you."

"It’s a nice location with good music. The food is decent but I wouldn’t get it again. The fried fish was good but it was covered in what looked to be a garnish. That was probably the best thing that I ordered. The strawberry lemonade is excellent but the “swamp water” lemonade that my husband got taste like regular lemonade with an aftertaste of blue raspberry. The Mac and cheese was kinda dry. The shrimp and grits wasn’t edible. The shrimp was tough and no comment on the grits. It was all bad. The fried okra was disappointing and had nowhere near enough breading on it. They taste soggy."
