"This is one of my quick favorite day time hikes. It is only a 40 minute drive from Springdale using Hwy 412 E & 23 N. It is a nice hike for families or anyone that likes nature but can't walk for more than 15 minutes at a time. There is a small waterfall below the parking area that is nice to check out if it is raining or less than 24 hours since it has rained. I recommend long sleeve shirts and pants if you are allergic to poison ivy. I never fail to come into contact when I wear shorts. Eagle watching on Jan 1. must attend!"
"The road to the trailhead looked a little too rough for my little car, but I was able to park about a half mile away from the trailhead. The hike itself is only about a mile, but it's pretty. The overlook itself is so gorgeous! I literally almost cried when I got there. If your vehicle can make it all the way to the trailhead, there is a loop to turn around and there is some extra room to park."
"Great place for great views!! A must for the fall colors! 15mins drive on dirt road. 10mins walk from parking area to the bluff."
"This trail is off the beaten path down some gravel roads. The trail is well marked and an easy walk/hike. It is also very shaded which helped to keep us cool. The views are amazing. We didn’t get to see any Eagles but the hike was worth it anyway. The trail head is well marked and has a gate at the start. We made the mistake and went to one off of the parking area on the opposite side, which is a second trail that is much more steep and harder to navigate but at the end there is a cave at the bottom of the canyon that is really neat to see."
"Awesome location! This is a great hike for kids; the trail is short (0.5 mi) and well maintained, and the view is spectacular. If the weather is wet, don't miss nearby Road 299 Falls (36.256707,-93.656746) and Glory B Falls (36.196883,-93.690102). Both are right off the road and very easy to get to."
