They will sell you products you don’t need and when you try and return them unopened and unused, they find every way to decline the return, including “it would be illegal for me to do it” and “you’ll have to come back and speak to the manager when they are working, they might be in tomorrow”. They need to figure out their priorities. They are getting a 1 star review and losing a customer over an $8 bottle of chemicals that should have never been sold in the first place. Based on the list of 1 star Google reviews, it won’t be long before the Burnsville residents push them out for a business who actually wants to contribute to the community."

"Buyer beware this place is a joke. The first tech they sent out took almost an hour to replace my topside on my hot tub. Told me it would be covered under warranty then I get a $800 dollar bill. The tech was so stupid that he didn’t know the difference in a corroded wire a mouse chewed wire. We bought a Sundance hot tub that we were told would keep its temp in the winter the temp drops so fast you get cold I would recommend using valley pool and spa for you all your pool needs. If they can’t diagnose a simple hot tub I wonder how many mistakes they make in there pool builds. Make sure you read all the bad google reviews before thinking of using these crooks. Check out the better business bureau also before using them"

"0 Stars if I could, Brought in my water sample for testing - they said I needed a Gallon of Instant Conditioner for the pool. They sell it at $54.99 gallon. Find out it sells for half the cost. I do not mind paying a little extra to help out small businesses but c'mon man...Called the PPS in Burnsville 2 hours after the purchase and was told - that's our price. If you want to go get it at another Pool store and get it $27 less go ahead. He said - "We are the experts here" Lesson learned - NEVER buy from PPS without checking with other places!!!!!!!"

"HORRIBLE business. I’ve been going to them for a year. Last summer they over sold me PH down. I told them I was new to pools and they gave me double what I needed. This year I brought my water sample in and they sold me PH Down again. I was in a hurry so I didn’t check the calculations. They have how many gallons my pool has. Got home and started to add some product when last years “mistake” happened. This time they sold me six times the amount of product that would’ve ever been required for my pool. It would’ve gummed up my chlorinator and pump like I did last year I brought the two big tubs that were not needed back. In a condescending manner they said that it’s not their policy to return chemicals unless it has a sealed which clearly these did and we’re not broken I said so I’m just out the money because you guys way over sold me the guy actually smiled when he said yes for the amount of money that they charge their staff is horrible. I don’t like to leave reviews like this, but I would hate for anyone to have to drain the pool because of these morons. I left the two buckets on the counter and left because I was so disgusted. The management should really look into who is working for them."
