"Before you go in understand what tests your doctor has ordered and ask for an estimate, there are also other imaging providers in the area that can provide estimates and the service. Know the difference between a screening mammogram and a whole breast mammogram and again compare it to what your doctor has ordered. Most insurances cover the screening mammogram at no cost to the patient. If you are scheduled for a whole breast mammogram, compare it to what your doctor has ordered and ask for an estimate."

"Complete incompetence from this Renown location. 11/12/21 my wife has a stat imaging appointment for 9:15 am with fasting and no liquids since the night before. Checks in at 9:05 am with receptionist. Takes a seat in the waiting area. After waiting one hour, checks back with receptionist and is told “oh they called you and now you missed your appointment” you’ll have to come back tomorrow” What! I’ve been here the entire time. Receptionist: “oh, you should have gone through the door over there and waited to be called”. Never said a word about going through a door to another room to wait..nor did anyone check the main lobby when she was supposedly called. No problem, took time off, drove across town on $4.25 a gallon fuel, fasted, but because Renown is so good at communicating and problem solving….I’ll get up and do it all over again tomorrow. I would really like a response from whom ever is in charge of this location."
