"I've been at NEC for about 7 years. I think it's okay but if you go there you want to try to get out right away because that's not a good place to graduate from. After 7 years at being at NEC I start transitioning to my home school on April 11th honestly I wouldn't have done it without the staff there always looking out for me and helping me get to this point honestly if you come here work hard to get your self in the right place so you can go back to your home school I wouldn't have done it without the social workers, teachers and my family. This people actually care you just got to work hard."

"I go to school here, the teachers are dedicated and polite. They do everything they can to help and to get you to graduation! The downstairs is even better for the little ones, never seen a frown, things are structured but fun."

"They took me in when nobody else did, they allowed me to graduate and have a fair shot at life even when I nearly messed up my entire education. I am glad that I was transferred here from my home district, even though I was not the most productive student. I would only be at this school for a couple hours a day, but they gave me the support that I needed to stay on the right path in life. I am grateful and glad for everything they did for me."

"Leadership is basically non-existent, higher ups come and go almost like they were never there at all in the first place, the turnover of staff is that of McDonalds, most of them never staying past 1 or 2 years then leaving to find better jobs, or they get transferred to other buildings. The building is almost never quiet or calm, there's always something going on and always someone having a tantrum or another fight in the ALC wing, yes it's beyond bad. Glad I jumped ship (or escaped captivity) when I did."
