"I visited River Ranch on my ski trip out West from NYC. I went with 4 other friends of mine and we had a nice dinner. The service took a little while to first attend to us when we sat down such as getting water or acknowledging us. But, we had a nice time. Everyone enjoyed their meals and my lamb shank was super amazing. I also had the best sweet potato maple cheesecake in my life here. It was close to the mountain where we stayed and I would return given the opportunity."

"Perfect place to look out over the water for a meal. Nachos and French onion soup were great. We go out everything we are in Reno. Never stayed in the rooms though so can't coment on that. Staff is amazing"

"Didn't stay - but ate at the restaurant. Twice! Bison short ribs and wedge salad are both 10/10 - I highly recommend! I thought the cocktails were a little overpriced, but their beer selection was great, with local varieties on tap. Great rustic lodge vibes..."

"It was so rude after a nice New Year's Eve dinner to hear silence in response to our "thank you and happy new year" in return. Both waiters pretended not to notice us as we were leaving the restaurant. This last minute experience ruined the whole service. The food was good."
