"One star because negative stars is not an option. The tournament we were in this weekend was completely out of control. Our players who were injured needed ice and we were told to go “scrape it from the Zamboni.” We were locked out of our locker room and their staff seemed as though he had a few too many drinks to even help. The “medic” on-site seemed as though she got a certificate online to attend to the players. The referees allowed games to continue to get out of hand so much that they had to call in a professional lead referee. He was there for 2 games on Saturday night and didn’t return. It’s a disappointment when the home teams parents are telling an opposing team that if the opposing team take out one of their players they “wouldn’t be upset”. For being a Minnesota hockey tournament, this did not live up to the expectations."
