"Great customer service, Javen came out to clean and evaluate our chimney in our newly purchased home. It was deemed unsafe to use as it was very old and did not look like it had ever been updated. Javen took photos and wrote up his recommendations for repair and gave me a quote before he left. Though he was delayed getting back to our house for the updates and repairs due to weather, he was finally able to come out yesterday around 9 and had everything done by 12:30. Before he left he reviewed everything he had done and what we needed to do to let everything fully cure. All that to say, they are thorough, polite and punctual. They are willing to work with your schedule and are up front about costs. I'm thankful we have such a good company near by."
"Beware this guy is a scam!! Called to have my Chimney cleaned... First thing he pulled out my Ashley insert, blew a breaker in my breaker box that was connected to the fans for the unit. Said we needed a whole new insert.. Went to his truck and quoted me around $10,000 for a new unit... Didn't even clean my Chimney like I called him for... Left my unit pulled out what if it was an elderly lady or someone who couldn't move it back.. Wost thing he left a bill for $175 for a Chimney inspection what a waste of money and I still have to pay an electrician to fix waht he messed up.. Save your cash and use someone else.."
"Jay's Chimney installed 2 wood burning stoves for us, corrected fire hazard potentials, ran all new venting, did some other repairs that were needed and cleaned out our very dirty chimney. I'm so relieved that I can now use my fireplaces safely and I know everything was done correctly. I am so happy with how everything turned out! Javen and Jessica are always on top of communication which was so nice! Javen is rich in knowledge and walked us through everything and even helped us find the best spot for what we needed from our free standing stove. Everyone involved was so kind, respectful and very professional. Thier work is top notch! I will always recommend Jay's Chimney."
