Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

"My car got hit in the parking lot durin snow/ ice storm. I was told the deductible if it was determined to be from another vehicle would be $250, otherwise it would be $1000. I got the call today that they could not determine it was another vehicle so I would have to pay the $1000. I will be shopping around for another insurance company because while they state they can't determine its another vehicle they can't determine it was anything else. I guess my car was hit by something mysterious."

"Terrible customer service and the app is even worse. Never had accidents or issues. I applied for auto pay on the app and set everything up. Apparently I wasn't allowed because I was late on one payment once while the app said I could. Well now I had another late payment while the money was there. Definitely shopping for a better company with better customer service. Just look at their recent progressive app reviews. All about snap and auto pay syphoning extra cash."

"The rate went up $86 for 6 months with no claims on the policy, so I went to the website and found a link to save up to 20% for taking a driver safety course for being over 50 years old. I spent the $20 and took the online course and completed the course before the premium was due, and submitted the course completion certificate. I received an email that materials had been received and were under review. After 2 months of no further response I had to call to find out that the discount had been applied but that it did not save me any money on my premium. I got the link to the AARP course and took the course because their website said it would save me up to 20%, but I guess the "up to" part was the problem - you have to take the course to find out that it doesn't save you anything! I'll definetly be shopping for another insurance company when my policy is up!"

"What a nightmare. First off they have zero customer service, I've had to do all the leg work for them. They won't approve upgrades on rental cars so that I could get a car (Left me stranded for 3 days) then they won't approve the body shop to fix my car correctly because they are so cheap with everything. The employees don't have any ability to approve or get anything done. The local auto guy can't even get me a rental cause he doesn't have access to Hertz since they are exclusive with Enterprise (the worst rental car company to ever do it) I've been out almost three weeks now on a simple fender bender and they have been lazy and apathetic to any of my needs. Do not use them for your insurance and pray you never had to have them fix a claim for you! Can we give zero stars?"

"This insurance company is a JOKE! My daughter took her car in for a repair after a hit and run in the parking lot. Her car has been at the dealership for over at least 6 weeks!! Progressive FAILED to come out in a timely manner to assess her vehicle and now they are FAILING to pay the dealership in a timely manner. I would NEVER recommend this POS insurance company to anyone! If I could give negative stars, there would not be enough room to fit it on this page!"
