"I have noticed in a few counties, especially those with relatively low population density, that there aren't any dudes that work in the Court Clerk's office. The profession of working in one of these offices in a county that I can characterize as "it's straight-up Mayberry up in there", I can say that with a similar, other district, Caroline Weaver and her assistant Pamela Shotpouch, broke the mold on what I can only ethically characterize as a keen sense on interpreting the difference on what their policies, resources, and procedures were all while never giving me legal advice as a layperson who has had to practice law in that district. Never once have they told me what they think I should do as a matter of law. As opposed to the other district, they didn't seem to have some crazed sense of paranoid hypervigilance that in the other district, was tantamount to little or nothing more than a pitiful lack of service. In the OTHER DISTRICT, we could have saved a bunch of tax-payer money, fired half the office, and replaced them with a bunch of people from Kinkos. Ms. Weaver's professionalism, attentiveness, keen cognizance, and level of service, and that of her staff, have shown to me to be absolutely ethical and remarkable."
