"Wow...I am so impressed! I just called to address a real estate issue, and Atty John Beck took my call and spent 20 minutes giving me valuable information and guidance as to how to proceed. To say I highly recommend him is an understatement. Thank you John Beck!!"

"I give him one star because I have too. My experience with Mr. Charles Morgan has been "memorable." He initially charged me $500 to have a criminal mischief charge dismissed if I would file a civil action. He scheduled the next time to meet with the judge in the criminal action (cut an encroaching fence that violated a court order in an earlier case, to have access to my land) then did not show up. In California his office told me. My neighbor met with the county prosecutor at the bar before the proceeding and the criminal charge was NOT dismissed. For this Mr. Morgan never offered one word of apology or regret. He finally filed the civil action a day after meeting with us in a 3 hour meeting in which he talked for two hours, berated me for questioning him on some things in the filing until my wife had to make peace between us. When I informed him he would not receive another penny until the criminal charge was dismissed, he sends me a bill with $5,000 in trumped up charges before the case even went to trial, charging me just to read emails to which he never responded. Most of these emails inquired as the deadline approached for the criminal charges to be dismissed WHEN WE WOULD MEET? Finally, two days before the filing, his secretary called. He is overpriced ($300 an hour), and is one of the most arrogant individuals I have ever come across and was a total waste of our time. When I wanted to meet with a surveyor whose father did a survey that resolves this case, Mr. Morgan said, "Don't you meet with him. You will be in a 2 and a half hour meeting with him that will 'piss him off.' " He said he knew this man personally. Yet Mr. Morgan never followed up on that meeting and I did not learn until the day that I fired Mr. Morgan that Mr. Mogan had been told, "He didn't want to get involved." Mr. Morgan falsely assumed that this plat map could not be evidence in this case, when if fact it already was evidence that was earlier removed from the case file by the Defendant. Mr. Morgan is thin-skinned and would not allow me to disagree with him or recommend changes to the filing without berating me in front of my wife. A thoroughly disgusting experience from this man for both me and my wife. Maybe in his day, Mr. Morgan was a hotshot but today the best thing he can do is retire. Stay away from this man who gives the legal profession and Presbyterian Sunday School teachers a very bad name."
