"Unpleasant Experience with Landlord I have been a resident at this property for five-year now and unfortunately, my overall experience has left much to be desired. Despite being a reliable tenant with on-time payments throughout my stay, I encountered significant challenges when requesting a simple rent verification form. When I approached the landlord for assistance with signing a document crucial for my records, I was met with a surprising lack of cooperation. Despite my extended tenure and consistent payments, I was told that I am "not a priority" And that it is “expensive” to sign a form. This response left me feeling undervalued as a tenant who had faithfully fulfilled their obligations. It is disheartening to encounter such a dismissive attitude, especially after half a decade of being a responsible and respectful tenant. I believe tenants should be treated with fairness and respect, regardless of their perceived priority. Prospective tenants may want to consider this aspect of the landlord's approach to tenant relations when making housing decisions."

"do NOT move here. the house is filled with insects, rodents, and etc. They will not give you your security deposit. They make people move here and once they’re leaving they will take their deposit. I wish we never came here in the first place."

"I am gonna be honest here, I was sad to leave Wolkowicz Properties. I have never been sad to leave a rental. I will miss not only my apartment, my location, but the way the company handled themselves. Me, personally, I am mess. But Wolkowicz knew how to deal with it. Clean, safe, well maintained. My building was quiet, and I lived in a busy part of town. Now that I see a 4.6 rating, I wanna cry because I miss my apartment! Thank you Wolkowicz, your company saved me during the pandemic."

"I have lived in a Wolkowicz Apartment since March, 2010. I am very familiar with the housing market, and Joe's business has stood out to me for a variety of reasons. Before I get into it, though, I would like to summarize (for those in a hurry / TL;DR) that I am extremely pleased with the experience. Joe keeps his units more than reasonably priced - they are ultra-competitive with the industry standard. Once leased up, Joe and Jackie (his Assistant) have been highly responsive with any maintenance requests. They have had their maintenance team out to look at/repair things within one business day on every single occasion over 7 years. Further, they have replaced appliances as needed, and have no problem having a crew that will honestly appraise whatever situation I am dealing with - they do not eschew sound judgment in favor of penny-pinching. Joe himself, as has been pointed out by others, is not the most jovial of fellows. But what Joe is, and what he does, is better. Joe is a conscientious business owner who operates with complete integrity. He looks you in the eye, only says what he means, and means every word he says. One of life's lessons is that you cannot afford to partner with anyone who fails to operate in that way - particularly when it comes to where you decide to call 'home'. And once you are in, Joe will take care of you. Problem neighbor? They will deal with it. Security concern? They're on it. You get the picture. If my review makes it sound as though there are non-stop 'issues' in my building, that is not at all the case. Phone calls to the office are very rare - the building is quiet, secure, and clean. I am comfortable having my family here, which I would never compromise. If you need anything, you will not lack for help in having your issue remedied. Joe and Jackie run a fair and transparent business, which may be a bit of a dying art in today's age."
