"After living in a small(er) town apartment for 3 years where I could hear my sick upstairs neighbor cough or vomit, Red Oak Manor is a real blessing! This place was built with quality building materials. Apartments are quiet. You don't hear you neighbors. I've been here a year and while we have had management changes, our current manager, Theresa, is fabulous to work with! I don't know where these bad reviews have come from, but it must not be ROM."

"Horrible managerial representation. Supposedly because of the employment shortage, yet rent and the obscure way of "averaging" out the water&sewage has no procedural regulations to maintain a profit. They also hire a new stranger to let into your house monthly, titled "maintenance", no introduction or accompaniment by an on-site manager which is very reassuring with door codes. Have not recieved a lease in two years, with written request. Harassment orders have had to be filed against non-tenant violators after a year and a half of photographical evidence, written complaints on file and a secondary agency helping to aid communication. Metro Plains Management abuses their tenants with high cost living, a four page itemized cost sheet with $5 light bulbs, creating community turmoil by not aiding with their own lease/handbook, yet penalizing anyone they can, and evicting the rest. Look up the case search for these businesses. Read the tenant complaints. Times are tough, but peace is not struggling everyday when you come "home". Oh, Your five star reviews are from regional managers. Call the directory, you'll get them. Laura Udell Elk River."

"Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, rental or otherwise. I put in application for apartment on August 2nd for early September rental, after constantly emailing Katelyn Twingstrom, she told me that everything looked good and would send it to compliance, and should hear back in couple days, on the 30th I emailed her again, she said she would email them again, apparently too busy to pick up phone, I haven't heard from her since. If anyone is serious about renting a home, this is not the place."

"Firehouse Flats Gang Ridden! Very Dangerous! No Security! Lived here for 3 years. Gang members reside in many rental units. Police are here daily. Temporary Manager here only 3 days a week. Currently no maintenance person. Absolutely no Security. Apartment next door was busted for narcotics. I am in fear of my life after being threatened by gang members. I will be moving asap."
