Pike Lake Marsh Apartments

"The apartment was never cleaned. They said they had a professional cleaner but it’s clear that there wasn’t one. There was dirt piles left on the floor, dishes and food left in the cupboards, grease and finger prints all over the kitchen, the carpets were full of stains from red, pink, yellow, black, and even burn holes and gum in the carpet. We had to vacuum multiple times and wash the carpets twice ourselves before we could even move in. The drains for the tub had foul smells and were filled with dirt, hair etc. the shelves in the closet are broken, found a razor blade, and hair stuff in the bathrooms, there were clothing pins found on the carpet, the walls needed to be washed as well as the baseboards. We pulled the fridge out to find so much dirt, food and Grease on the floor and sides of the fridge, hair in the microwave. All the person who “cleaned “ did was put an air plug in that did not smell good by the front door."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE! I moved into Pike Lake Marsh Apartments 07/26/2018 and moved out 08/31/23. I didn’t enjoy my time living here and it makes me sad knowing that I stayed so long. The building is very small, located in the middle of no where, directly across from a farm and a gas station across the highway. The inside of the building stinks because of all the spices in the air from the large amount of Somalians who occupy the building, cooking their ethnic foods. The outside air also stinks because of the farm with cows, goats and wild turkeys roaming around in the middle of the street. As soon as you turn onto Pike Lake, you’re in a dead zone and your call will drop. So frustrating! It’s also really dark at night and a lot of car accidents happen at the intersection that turns into building. There was so many Somalian kids running through the hallways day & night. They’d constantly press the alarm button in the elevator and also pull the fire alarm! My packages were constantly being stolen, bugs were a huge problem in the summer, and they only offer Quantum Fiber for internet service - no other choices. Kristie R. is the property manager and isn’t a happy person. She looks miserable, nervous & sweaty all the time. Athena R. is the assistant property manager and also is a miserable woman who doesn’t enjoy her job. She lives onsite, on the 1st floor. Tammy S. is one of the other assistant manager at Pike Lake Marsh and she’s great! She was my go to for whatever I needed and had great communication throughout the years. Rick is the maintenance man for the building and he’s also great! He’s the only good thing about the property and deserves better! He was always quick to respond to my maintenance requests and always greeted me with a smile & cheery attitude. I really enjoyed getting to know him during my time living there. I moved to a much nicer apartment in a city near by. I’m so embarrassed that I ever lived at Pike Lake Marsh Apartments."

"Low quality buildings, used to live in their old complex at Virginia Ave, moved here when it first became available at August 2018. Brand new apartments, summer time it's filled with bugs as you live right by a pond, don't live close to any walkable stores except for Holiday gas station. Bad service on cellphone, no vending machine for pop as in the old apartment."
