"People are friendly but it's like ridiculously wrong. I came in and walking in I realized there's a strong chance I'll need to go to the ER, but instead of turning around and leaving, I walked in amd asked if I could speak with a nurse real quick b4 I wait here and then get sent to the ER,which has happened several times from this location. They said yea. Get you checked in real quick and have the nurse right out...10 minutes later still nobody and I'm like... is I'm going to wait here and need a CT or MRI then I'm not waiting much longer...waited a little more then went back to the front and said, look I didn't want to waste my wait time here if I need a CT for my abdomen that I didn't realize was in as much pain as it is until I started walking up here... I'm just going to go to the ER since there's no nurse to verify I should go to ER rather than here.. thanks bye. She looked at me so confused. Urgent care sucks when you're trying to decide if what is going on need the ER verses urgent care and nobody was able to help me decide. I think I'll keep my doctor here but still not be using the urgent care ever again."

"This place sucks, I will go into detail. Many doctors here are very inexperienced and will misdiagnose you, if you are having serious medical issues and don't have insurance they will turn you down and away even when they not busy."

"I was seen in the OBGYN department by Dr. Melcher. When I first got pregnant, she took forever to reach out to me with next steps and to make a first appointment. I then started experiencing some bleeding and again she took forever to reach out to me. I was working with the nurses but didn’t think their plan was best. Long story short, I experienced a miscarriage and didn’t hear from her until after the fact. She left me multiple messages almost in a cheerful tone, saying that everything looked great on ultrasound, and didn’t show any remorse at all. Obviously things aren’t great, my baby is gone. Then a couple months later I went to the radiology department to get a copy of my ultrasound images to have as a keepsake and the radiology department was very rude and told me that I could not get the images when in fact, I knew that I could because of a call I made to the OBGYN department. Overall, staff there is very rude and I will not be returning to this location for my next pregnancy."

"The staff is amazing. Accessibility is awful if you're a manual wheelchair user. Not one ADA complaint parking spot there. The "accessible" parking is on a grade and has no access to the sidewalk until you get to the door up the hill."

"I went in for a preventative visit with Dr. Ryan Russell, which should be covered 100% by my health insurance. We had an office visit a month prior to that, where I was getting allergic reactions and he prescribed me some allergy medication to take. I got billed for that visit, no problem at all. I was happy for the care I received. During my preventative, Dr. Russell and I talked a bit about the follow-up from my last visit regarding my allergic rash, and how his prescriptions were working. It was not more than 5 minutes of informal discussion at best. Come two weeks later, I get a bill AGAIN for another office visit charge, the same day as my preventative visit. I called the hospital to see why it was coded this way, and they told me based on the way the doctor took his notes, it was an acute symptom that I brought up and they needed to charge me for discussing it. How the hell can a 5-minute discussion lead to a $220 office visit charge? If you're going to charge everyone for bringing up any concerns they have during a preventative visit, why even ask your patients if everything is okay? Stay away from this hospital. I don't know if it's just procedure for HealthPartners in general or just the Arden Hills location, but they want you in and out as quickly as possible to make the most money. Overall, I'm disappointed because I really trusted Dr. Russell and could relate to him, and I don't know if it was his doing or his administration team, but this made me lose all trust and I will be looking for a different doctor going forward."
