"Just went in for labs, after waiting for 20 minutes, I was brought back to tell me they do not have the proper supplies to do the blood draw I needed. Very disappointing."

"I have been coming to this clinic since it opened & I have become absolutely disgusted with the level of service here. I was just told that because I don't have diabetes that I can't see a podiatrist! What a load of horse manure! Fairviews' level of service has continuously gone downhill for the last several years. Its a shame they have a monopoly on health care around here. I'm about ready to move just because of the low level of care around here."

"UPDATE; Service became very difficult. Twice the PAs called in sick and one doctor announced I no longer needed pap smears. I insisted another female doctor there do one and, yes, there was a problem My primary care doctor left, and I had to leave for the Lakeville location where they are super accomodatong. Love my new doctor too."

"I've been going here for over 20 years because I like the providers and staff. However, the actual administration of M Health Fairview has really gone downhill with greed. At my last annual physical, my provider was in with me for 5-10 minutes. She ordered the standard labs. Because I've had a thyroid condition for 30 years, she also ordered a thyroid lab so she could renew my prescription. I understand that lab doesn't fall under my routine physical so I've always paid out of pocket for it. However, apparently now under new policy, M Health Fairview charged me for an additional 15-minute appointment (as well as the lab of course), even though they also charged my insurance for a 30-minute physical and my provider was with me for under 10 minutes. They justified it because my provider had to order the lab, which took maybe three seconds, I understand it's another minute to review the lab and send the prescription. Still, we didn't discuss my thyroid nor did she examine it because it's been routine for so long. This is nothing but greed. Of course this extra "appointment" was completely out of my pocket as I haven't met my deductible. I know I will now avoid getting care there due to the cost. My need for an annual thyroid prescription will probably be handled by a non-Fairview telehealth provider that's never met me because it will be so much cheaper. Charging for 45 minutes worth of appointments for 10 minutes of actual time shows absolute disregard for actual patient care. I think that when these administrators want to charge us for 45 minutes, we should be able to keep our providers for 45 minutes asking questions. Instead it seems they are scheduled with new patients every 15 minutes no matter what. I don't understand how this is ethical."
