"I’m confused by the low reviews. I’ve gone here for 7 years now and had a handful of providers. Every last one has been compassionate, listens, treats properly. I know sanford has a bad wrap but their behavioral health is top notch full circle. Reception upstairs in person is kinda rude but I mean they prob get put threw the ringer with us looney tunes so can you blame them? I’m just happy they put up with us tbh. And like- if you don’t like ur care plan - tell them. Explain why. They listen and will work on adapting to ur needs… be honest, lay it all out there. They can help you and will. But getting better and help you need in mental health starts with you as a patient."

"Not even a one star. After a year of waiting for an appointment, had an intern (note taker) grill me, than the Dr. came in for a minute and was a jerk, higher than mighty, no empathy. Worse doctor ever!"

"I love Dr. Abdulhusein!! He’s always listened to my thoughts and feelings about things and then told me what my options are. Never felt judged or talked down to by him and he’s pretty funny too."

"Wow, all I did was call to find out the process for having my son evaluated for a learning disability. The receptionist talked so fast and was so rude that I was completely demoralized. I explained I didn't know the procedure and asked if I could speak with someone else, as she was speaking far too fast and I couldn't understand what she was saying. She proceeded to talk AT me and did not bother to hide her irritation. I ended up in tears, just trying to find help for my son and this is how they treat you? I understand I may not have been calling the right place but this was the phone number on the Adolescent Psychiatry website. Pitiful way to treat vulnerable people looking for help."
