"After having both knees replaced a few years back, I started having pain in my right hip this past summer. I couldn’t bear the thought of having to endure hip surgery, so I sought the advice of Dr. Jake at the Dakota Clinic of Chiropractic. Immediately he assure me that it was likely the muscles on the inside of my legs had become weak and my hip was trying to compensate for that . He suggested I start a knee program they had developed for this exact ailment. After the very first session I had relief in my right hip. I continued to make progress and presently I have no hip pain. What I appreciate most about working with Dr. Jake was that almost every time I came in for treatment he shared tips and pointers for keeping my knees healthy. Those small suggestions made such a difference. At my age, it is likely I will always have to be conscientious of how I position my feet when I walk and keep up with the exercises he suggested, but this is certainly doable.
