Rusty Moose Resort

"Stayed here a week with my family. I was impressed that the cabin was spacious enough for all six of my kids, even though it was just 3 bedrooms. Typically these places are tiny because they are so old. But the furnishings are up-to-date and clean, not worn and tired. It was very comfortable! The beach leaves much to be desired, but it is a feature of the landscape, so I don't think it can be fixed. It would be also be nice to have other options for renting a boat to use. Having a bigger city (Alexandria) so close is nice, as you can get to the grocery store quick, and restaurants are not far. The staff was pretty nice, too."

"Year 4 at Rusty Moose and we always have the best time. I have been to several resorts before and Rusty Moose is hands down the best resort in MN. The owners are incredible and kind and are always very helpful. They have the nicest beach, cabins (my bed is so comfortable) and a private fire pit. The kids enjoy all the water fun they provide as well. Lake Miltona is the cleanest lake that I have ever seen and has the best fishing straight out from the cabin where u will see in the pic review a nice smallmouth. I recommend Rusty Moose resort to everyone. Thank you Justin, Kelli, Monica and Scott For giving us such a great time every year."

"This is our 29 year at this resort (previously Tip Top Cove). The resort has only improved under the new ownership of Justin, Kelly, Monica and Scott. It is a clean, comfortable setting where we enjoy a fantastic family vacation! We love spending time with the neighbors who also return each year."

"Stayed here with family! It’s a great resort with lots to do! There was a large beach, kids area, game room, private fire pits and grills, lots of docks and a pontoon to rent! The cabin was recently updated and spacious for family and extended family to stay. Highly recommend!"
