"We stayed here because we have family close by and they allow dogs. We love this place!! So relaxed and a friendly atmosphere!! Everyone was so welcoming!! The beach was perfect for the dogs and our grandson. We stayed in there Bungalow it was a little walk to the beach but still loved it. Thank You For a fun week!! We are hoping to come back next summer!!"

"We've been here for multiple years and are always treated well by the owners. They cabins are quite lacking but they are focused on updating them over the next few years. The on-site store is useful and has the basics, plus fun t-shirts."

"This review is about 6 months overdue. We stayed here last summer after our usual vacation place in the area closed, everything was great! It was a very casual, simple and friendly atmosphere. Our cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. It was the smallest cabin on the property but was more than enough for my wife, my dog and myself. The owner and his family ( sorry forgot his first name ) were always around if you needed something. We rented a small boat to do some simple fishing near the resort and it was very inexpensive. The rental office also had some basic groceries (including beer!) and they could whip up a pizza if you wanted. Also a HUGE plus for us is that it was dog friendly! We mainly came here because it was the only place that had a cabin to rent at the time, but we will definitely be back!"

"We've barely been here 24 hours into our mini-week stay and I can't say enough good things about our stay so far. More than enough space to dock our boat without any trouble getting in and out around the other boats. Great clean sandy beach area right next to the boat docks and cabins. All the other guests we've encountered so far have been very friendly and polite. The lake is amazing and our kids loved floating and swimming around in the open sandy areas trying to catch fish by hand. There are easy to get to stores in both directions in case you forget any extras. The owner is so on top of everything and didn't even hesitate to bring in a completely different fridge when ours didn't seem to be cooperating. Within minutes we had them switched out with the added help of our next door cabin neighbors. So far I think our family would love to make another trip up here from the twin cities and we still have 4 more days left to enjoy."
