"The Island was beautiful and clean for our weekend wedding. We rented the whole place for the weekend. Our island staff/coordinator for the weekend was Mary, and we could not have done it without her. She was so positive and helpful, and kept checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back for an anniversary in a few years! Thank you!"

"Xanadu offers a comfortable, quiet, and unique getaway just outside of Battle Lake. You're practically on an island with water all around. The lake is beautiful with great fishing. The town of Battle Lake offers excellent dining options, art, shopping and several events throughout the season. I've recommended many people stay at Xanadu and they've always had a great time."

"This is a beautiful space for a retreat which is why I was there. It was a cold, misty day and we tried to have a fire in the living room, but there wasn't enough kindling for the size of the wood to be burned. The main building sleeps 16 or 18 with lovely baths attached to each bedroom. The lake looked wonderful also."

"We couldn't have found a more perfect spot for my little brothers wedding party! We had a fantastic time, there was not than enough room for 14 of us, and each couple had their own bathroom. It was extremely well kept up, very private, and had all the amenities you could ever need. Highly, highly recommend!!"

"Beautiful cabins stocked with pots, pans extra pillows, blankets shampoo soap and conditioner. Impressive book collection in each cabin. They provide plenty of outdoor recreation items. Grills and bon fire pit is clean. The lake is gorgeous and there are life jackets, paddle board, inflatable floaties, canoe, motor boats etc.. We fully enjoyed our stay. My 8 year old and 3 year old kids did not want to leave. They never even ask for screen time the entire 4 days."
