"✨️The Talk Center is beautiful inside and out--there's a therapist for everyone here!!✨️ I am not a client at the Talk Center, but a student at UARK. For my Counseling Foundations course, we were tasked with visiting a site and creating a presentation about the specialties/techniques used. Caty was extremely willing to offer her time to meet with our group of counseling students. Katrina joined in, too! We learned about the many different theoretical perspectives, counseling techniques, and specialties at the Talk Center. Whether you're looking for mindfulness-based counseling, existentialism, ACT, EMDR, Alderian, ERP, or CBT, they have it here! They have therapists who work with many different groups, such as children, teens, post-incarceration individuals, those with OCD, neurodivergent minds, college students, regular adults, families, LGBTQIA+ and more. No matter what you're looking for, the Talk Center has someone who can help guide you on your journey toward positive mental health practices. Moreover, Caty and Katrina were so warm and welcoming, and had deeply altruistic beliefs for helping those most in need. They perform pro-bono work and donate time to nonprofit organizations like the Joshua House and Magdalen House. They are truly community-oriented and work toward improved mental health for EVERYONE. We all need to feel like we belong and deserve peace in our lives, and I admire the Talk Center for making that a reality for countless individuals. "I started with counseling with Joyce a few weeks ago. I have not been disappointed at all. She has be easy to talk freely with and has switched from physical visit to virtual even a few hours before my appointment because of my health.
