"My Husband & I have been customers of Allstate for years now. Karen Deutz is one of the Agents at The Jacob’s Group. I’ve been working with Karen in these past several months beginning with the hail damage most of us in Minneapolis & St. Paul had to contend with last August on 2023’. It took literally months before the auto body shop could get me in for repairs which is a testament as to how busy all body shops were directly because of the terrible hail storm last August. While talking to Karen about my insurance, she suggested looking into potentially lowering our insurance rates, & checking out any discounts that we’d possibly be able to obtain. Karen suggested the AARP Drivers Safety Class that My Husband & I could take at a discounted rate with AARP & that we could literally save approximately $150. each per year off of Our Insurance Policy. That’s a $300. savings each year for us. I told Karen that I wasn’t interested because I heard that it took 8 hours to complete & that it was very boring. Karen went on to share with me that I should consider taking this course & that it wasn’t boring at all. So My Husband & I took the AARP Drivers Safety Course in a 3 day increment, doing just two hours per day. Let me tell you that this course was not boring in the least. This course taught us multiple things that we didn’t know previously. This course shared volumes of helpful, informative, & useful information to us both as elder drivers. My Husband & I are 67 & 63 years young, and believe me when I say : it’s truly refreshing to learn new things especially at our ages. And this course unequivocally demonstrates this. Also I’ve had insurance agents calling me, texting me, emailing me for months nonstop, because I filled out an online questionnaire some time ago. They have all been asking me to please allow them to give me a better quote than my current insurance company is giving us. And just yesterday I decided to write back to these insurance agents & I called one of them as well. I told them that My Husband & I have been loyal customers of The Allstate Insurance Company/Jacobs Group for 7 years now, that we receive exceptional customer service all of their employees & Manager, that the agent I’ve been working with a lot lately, (Karen Deutz), keeps me updated on any potential discounts we are possibly eligible for & we get the best possible rates out there,(competitively speaking), and that we’ve built a positive rapport, a mutual trust & years of experience in working together, and that I wouldn’t change this for anything.
