"My room didnt have a smoke detector. The ac took 2 hrs to cool the room. There was zero cold water during the heat of the day. The channel box was hanging down from the tv so you had to go hold the box to change the channel. Ive stayed in hundreds of cheap places but to charge $70 on a tuesday night for this room is beyond ridiculous. If I wasn't experiencing heat sickness, I would have left, unfortunately I paid with card... refunds take forever!"

"No refrigerator. Found a used wash cloth hanging on the shower rod. The door that adjoins to the room beside this room had no knob. The carpet is heavily worn and torn. The lighting sucks. The credit card didn't work. Not worth the money should've slept in the car."

"So the window to my room was open and crooked. I could not get it closed. The red smear on the bathroom door was a little bothersome. It is in town and you are close to downtown, but they need to repair a few things."

"Ok, this place is kinda old and the room smelled musty because the ac was off. We stopped late at night because everything else was sold out or either closed. The room was cheap and very clean it was actually cleaner than the Paragon room we stayed at in Marksville La. Once we turned the ac on, we nearly froze. Although the bed made some horrible noise everytime you move, we actually slept great.The owner was super nice."

"This is a horrible place to stay. We left after walking in. We arrived early in the morning 330 am unplanned. The sign says new rooms. Check the picture. He charged us 60 dollars for a non smoking room to stay from 330 am to 11am (Rip off but we were in a jam because the other hotel we were going to stay in had major cleanliness issues for being 110 dollars a night). My wife, daughter, neice, and I went into the room not expecting much. When we opened the door the room smelt like cigarettes. The drywall was popping lose where three screws held it to the walls. The carpet was extremely run down. The sheets had an unknown white substance in them. The towels had brown stains or dirt on them. The sink had female hairs in it. The toilet tank lid did not fit the toilet (it was to small). I asked the gentleman for a refund and he said sorry I don't give refunds. This place is a serious scam and the owner is a scam artist ripping tourist off. So much for a therapeutic vacation. Worst place I've ever been to and I was in the military. I do not recommend this place."
