"Drove by several times after getting off work. Stopped in one day just to get more information and instantly felt at home with Jim and Jody. And Merlin and Izzy too. They all welcomed me in and were so easy to talk to and they had plenty of good information and stories to share. My wife and I began come in to the free introduction classes and both fell instantly in love with it! We both decided to join and haven’t regretted a minute of it! The other members are great to work with! The more experienced students are patient and willing to share their experience with you to help you really grasp the techniques. Both Jim and Jody are also very patient and great instructors with each and every student. And awesome attitudes. No one is expected to push themselves to keep up with anyone else. Each person pushes their own limits but it’s not competitive. It’s all very collaborative! And we love that!! Overall just great people, great instruction, and a whole lotta fun! With so much turmoil in the world today, this is one of the most pragmatic self defense art forms available and so easy to learn."
