"As a first time customer. I was treated very poorly and will never return. The owner of Art's Barber gave me a buzz cut down to the scalp with clippers after asking me what kind of cut I desired (I gave clear directions and he completely ignored them). He made negative judgmental comments about race and politics during the visit. I walked out with a terrible haircut that took 4-5 months to grow out. What a negative customer experience, both the cut and the barber's comments. Avoid Art's unless you want a Boot Camp look and an uncomfortable customer experience."

"He is a very good barber. But today's visit left me depressed, haven't been treated this bad by a business in years. After asking how I wanted my hair done, he ridiculed my answer, which was just the beginning of the ridicule theme for this visit. I like his haircuts, but for mental health reasons, I won't be going again."

"First time here, and I will be back. The barber was a Vietnamese woman who did an excellent job. She took time to check with me - holding a mirror- as she cut the sides and back to cut to my preference. She took enough time to be thorough. There was a male barber in the shop as well. Price was similar to other places."

"Never ever go here. My partner went in for a haircut and the experience was abysmal. The barber is racist, sexist, and completely inappropriate. He made very off color jokes and dropped the n word a few times. I spoke to other locals and other people have had this experience with him. This behavior is not acceptable."

"New to the area, he was rude to me when I called looking for directions.i almost went elsewhere, but didn't want to find someone else since I was new to the area. Once there, he asked if I wss the one that called earlier,i said yes explaining I was new here, not know my way around well. My barber in the south took his time cutting my hair, he wanted it to look good, on the other hand Art, cut it in less than 5 min. and I was the only one in the place. He gapped my hair, did a horrible job in the back. Not possible to do a good job in less than 5 min. My barber in the south took 30 min. Beware of butcher Art!"
