"I had been going to Mary for years and always loved her cuts. I referred her to lots of people, including my dad. But then a weird misunderstanding involving a last-minute reschedule and her not remembering my call for a makeup appointment ended the relationship. When I called to make a subsequent appointment after the misunderstanding, Mary stated that she has too many clients to deal with me, that I should take my business somewhere else, and that I should stop calling her. I was pretty taken back by this response. I don't know if she was confusing me with someone else or if she had some personal issues going on. Mary's always been a pretty forward person (it's part of her charm) - but even for her, this was a rude way to end a long-time customer relationship."

"There is a reason for not having to wait to get a cut on a Saturday morning and it's not because they are tucked into a small shopping center. The place is poorly lit and grungy. I asked for a simple clipper cut. They could not do a proper fade. Left hair clippings all over my face and neck. No straight razor, did not ask about rounding or squaring off the back, etc. This place is missing the "Barber" in Barber Shop. The upside is that the two gentlemen cutting hair are very nice and enthusiastic and apparently, no wait time."
