"beware of salesman Jim Miller..poses as a well dressed business man who will finance your project...but is actually just a short term employee ...he proposed financing me for 4, 041 dollars for mold remediation and crawl space encapsulation... took 400 deposit ...promised a four man crew and a three step process...in reality it was one young man with half a gallon of white paint that showed up for the project...shame..shame ...shame"
"We contacted AirTecs for service at our home in January of 2021. We were quoted a price range and promised a post-treatment inspection by an independent agency. Upon arrival, the technician quoted us a new price, far exceeding the maximum price previously quoted. We assumed the problem warranted more treatment and paid the fee. The workers accessed our crawlspace through our basement laundry room. Even though I offered to move all of the laundry items and get a step stool, they declined. They sloshed their chemical product on some of our blankets, permanently staining them, and stood on our smart washer, denting it and damaging the sensor. Two weeks after the treatment, the inspector did arrive and take a sample. However, we never received the inspection report. We have been periodically calling, texting, and emailing AirTecs for eight months with no luck. Mr. Burks regularly dodges our calls. When we do reach him, he alternates between vague promises of contacting his office, assurances that it's "probably fine", and angry tirades that we are not his only clients, he's busy, and that we can't force him to give us the results. The "office" in question is padlocked and abandoned. When our termite inspector recently inspected the crawl space, he said we still have mold. Please save yourself the trouble and choose another company."
