"We are from out of town. This was nice find. You were greeted at the door. The food was hot and delicious. We had catfish, shrimp and chicken, pinto beans, tomato relish and Cole slaw. I recommend it all. They have gluten free options, including the fried catfish. (marked on the menu) The wait staff was friendly and gave great service. Definitely be back when we are in the area again."
"Wow. Just can't say enough about this little restaurant. Some of the best catfish we've had in a long time in our travels. The coleslaw that they bring to the table is absolutely amazing as well as the potato salad. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the staff was so friendly and amazing. Will definitely be eating there while we're in this area for the next month or so."
"Grandpa's has had several locations over the years, and this one is par for the course. If you like fried catfish you will enjoy this place. If you don't like fried things, you probably won't find a lot of love here. As for the quality of the food, the fried catfish is standard Arkansas-style thin filets (so get 2 or 3 if you're hungry), onion rings, fries, and hush puppies are standard, fried shrimp are phenomenal! Service can be hit or miss, but even when the staff is slower than usual we're talking maybe just a 15 min. wait on food tops. Usually very attentive, though!"
"Pretty dang good! Seated right away and waitress was quick about bringing out coleslaw & taking our drink order. Everyone in our party ordered the catfish, and it came out fast & hot! Good seasoning. Service was perfect, plenty of drink refills & checked in a couple of time. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!"
