"In October 2022 returned my 2020 Equinox for some warranty body work. I had a rear quarter panel that had a gap. Mauer tried popping it back in but it did not stay. So I returned to have that addressed and a large gap in my tailgate liner. The process for warranty body work is a little confusing. At first I went to the body shop where I was basically interrogated by a guy. It ranged from “Who is going to pay for this?” to “We can’t fix that!” This was for a WARRANTY issue. Finally he said I had to go to the service department to schedule an appointment. The service department manager, Michele, was very accommodating after I mentioned they had tried to fix this before. My appointment was set. After a couple of attempts they determined they had to order a new clip to hold the quarter panel. That took a day or so to get. The final repairs look great. Very happy with the service department (5 stars). But that guy in the body shop needs a major lesson in customer service."
