"My mom came in for her MS episodes, she had 2 in the ER, but nothing was done. Sat in the room after ER. The doctor kept trying to force her to talk. Even after I stated that she was unable to during a tremor. Best advice, if you not dying, do not come to this hospital cause ER doctors do not care and do not understand it is wrong to force someone to do it."

"Negligent! The dirty linens from the previous patient were left in my bathroom for two days. I was not said the first three days I was in the hospital due to what I was later told was an oversight. I had a hematoma in my left leg which was very obvious because it was twice the size of my right leg. I was supposed to receive 24 hour compression and never did I have a permanent disability in my left knee because of this neglect. Terrible! Horrible! Disgusting! Third world practices!"

"I recommend you do not use this facility. While I normally use the ratio of good to bad reviews for most places do not do that here. they will charge you for simply GOING through the triage EVEN if they KNOW they are not taking anymore patients. THIS is almost a DAILY occurrence. They are scamming citizens, a state hospital that receives funding from the state, for insurance/patient cost based income!! If you go into triage without treatment you will get a bill, urine sample even if you leave and notify them you'll get a bill!!!! ONLY facility to charge without treating a patient!! This is being filed with the state of Arkansas but I highly suggest going to unity or St. Vincent!!! Patient relations has stated this is common practice for the facility!"

"My father had to have his Pancreas and spleen removed along with rerouting his bile ducts. Dr. Mavros was AMAZING. He made sure we understood all the risks of both having and not having the surgery. The surgery went amazingly and the nurses and other doctors have been wonderful during our time here. Only been here a couple of days but everyone has made us feel comfortable and making sure my dad isn't in any pain as possible."

"Visited the new UAMS "The Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital" due to family member having a procedure done. First off, the building is very impressive looking from the outside and the inside looks very nice also. Seems to be laid out well and easy to find different areas of the facility with ease. Secondly, all the employees we encountered from the front check in desk, all the way through to the medical staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful even with the parking lot only half completed. It appears that the entire parking lot will be finished within a few weeks. Very nice addition to the UAMS Campus."
