If you're scared away by the receptionist, you either don't have a sense of humor or don't appreciate the realness of this quaint and personable office. You should probably go to one of the "big box" dentist offices where the receptionist will be more to your liking, but expect to be charged more for services you may or may not need. "This dental office from what I've experienced so far is horrible. And I haven't even stepped foot into the dental office yet. When I first contacted the dental office to make an appointment, the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. She asked me to repeat myself multiple times, and it seemed as if she wasn't listening to me and was distracted with something else. She answered me like, "yah, uh huh. Sure." She definitely made me feel uncomfortable and not taken care of well at all. And then, in the day of the appointment, on the way there I was a couple of minutes past my appointment time because the location is in a weird little area that is very hidden and I got lost . I contacted them to ask where the Office was because I was near the area but could not see the dental office. The receptionist who answered the phone was extremely rude and extremely unprofessional as well, and replied to me saying, "well! it's too late." That's just kind of blew my bubble with this practice because of my experience already with the first receptionist who took my appointment initially. I hate dealing with unprofessional administrative employees. I am so glad I did not decide to pursue services there because I'm sure they would've been horrible to work with for my dental insurance company. Definitely do not recommend to anyone because if the administrative professionals there who take down your information are not courteous and polite or professional, who knows how the whole practice will function. You gotta teach your employees to respect your clients... Or soon you won't have a business anymore buddy!"
