"My massage at Massage Envy was a great experience. I chose a firm massage and afterwards I was sore for a few days in a couple key places. The masseuse worked many spots that needed attention. I was impressed with her abilities and the general professional experience at this location!"

"It's nearly impossible to get an appointment. When you do end up getting an appointment they'll cancel or reschedule. I wouldn't recommend getting a membership. My husband and I have been members for 10+ years. You pay your monthly fees but struggle to get an appointment. You don't get reimbursed for anything you've paid when you cancel your membership. I finally bit the bullet and took a huge loss by canceling mine. I'm tired of paying for something that I can't get. As for the quality of the massage, it's best to look elsewhere. My husbands back was bright red and brused for days after a massage. He was in so much pain he couldn't even sit back. He asked her to go easy because it was hurting him. She responded with "just stop fighting me". He called to speak with the manager and got nowhere. Another time he a masseuse that started falling asleep on him. Literally on him. Her head was resting on his head while he was face down on the bed. Try anywhere and everywhere else before trying massage envy."

"This location should close it’s doors. They never have availability which is a shame because it’s my home location. I have to frequently goto Edina and even they cancel your weeks in advance booked appointments. They’ll cancel it in the days before. It’s so hard to reduce your credits. You cannot get refunds. This is how they keep you stuck in membership. It’s fraudulent at this point as they never fulfill the service. Then they want to charge you to freeze your account while reducing credits. DO NOT SIGN UP! What they’re doing has to be illegal. If I can’t reduce my credits, I may consider consulting with a lawyer. Even though the contract you sign says you cannot sue, but I’ll bet that’s incorrect. If you can prove they’re not fulfilling their side of the contract (which shouldn’t be hard to do), you probably can sue. This is the worst business contract you’ll sign people. Stay away!"

"Very poor service. My appointments have been cancelled multiple times. I was encouraged to book ahead which I did and could not get in for months. Then when it got close to the appointments they were cancelled. I put my account on hold while I waited for an appointment. I booked appointments again back in Dec 2022 for March 2023 or I thought and then checked on my appointment only to find out they they were never booked. So I have been thinking for 3 months I had an appointment but never did. Very disappointing. I need out of this monthly plan. I would not recommend it."

"I have stopped going to massage envy previously because of the lack of quality in their massage therapists but I got a gift card for Christmas and obviously wanted to use it so I called about 6 weeks ago and made an appointment for this Saturday 2/19 for a 90 min massage. Fine. But then I got a voicemail last night saying my massage therapist has a hand injury and hasn’t been cleared to come back to work so I have to reschedule. Fine. I called today and spoke with the “manager” Cheryl and she said their next weekend opening for a 90 min massage isn’t until MAY. So you’re telling me I have to wait another THREE MONTHS to get in???? That is ridiculous but I scheduled something anyways. Then she says before she can save my appointment time that she needs me to put a credit card on file “just in case I don’t show up”….. but like in a super rude tone…um, excuse me look up my appointment history I have never ever no showed. I explained that I have NEVER had to do that for a massage service and that when I called 6 weeks ago they had no issue booking me without a card on file- in fact they didn’t even mention it but Cheryl insisted she couldn’t book the appointment without one. So needless to say- this has already been a nightmare and I’m over it and told her to cancel all future appointments for me. For a “manager” you think she’d be a little less condescending and a little more concerned about customer satisfaction. Maybe I’ll get lucky at a different location but doubt it since this type of poor attitude and lack customer service seems to be the Massage Envy way. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here- there are SO many -actual quality- massage places that are leaps and bounds above this."
