"My recent visit(s) to Salongeorge started off promisingly with Liv providing a pleasant haircut experience. A few weeks before the stylist recommended the Moroccan color depositing mask for a light brown cocoa hue, reassuring me that it wouldn't pose any problems and could come out with a bleach wash. However, when I returned two weeks later for a color appointment, I specifically reminded Liv about the mask and asked if a bleach wash was necessary to prevent any unexpected outcomes. Despite my concerns, Liv advised against it, citing potential damage to my hair. Unfortunately, upon completion of the color treatment, my hair lifted pink, a result of the mask's interaction with the dye. Liv initially dismissed it, even asking if I was pregnant, but I figured it was the mask. It was only after consulting with her manager that they acknowledged the mask could indeed cause such issues. As a result, my hair was left stained, and their attempts to rectify the situation fell short. Moreover, Liv's handling of my freshly bleached hair was aggressive and uncomfortable. She towel dried it vigorously despite my discomfort, leading to excessive friction and further damage. Her attempts to brush out my wet, fragile bleached hair were similarly forceful and painful, leaving me feeling anxious and apprehensive about future hair appointments. The hairbrush was full of hairs and little pieces were falling to the ground due the round brush and heat on wet fragile hair. Adding to my disappointment were the unexpected charges incurred during checkout. Not only was I billed for TONER to correct the pink hue , but I was also charged extra for the extended service time required due to my thick lashes. I was not made aware of the up charges until I got to the counter. Since the additional fees were not communicated to me beforehand, it left me feeling blindsided and taken advantage of. Despite letting the owner know I was unprofessional charged more she only offered to “fix” my hair. You should make sure your client know if they are being charged more and you should know what products your selling your clients and let them know it WILL stain hair. The overall experience at Salongeorge has left me hesitant to return. The combination of a misguided product recommendation, aggressive handling of my hair, and undisclosed charges has undermined my trust in their services. They all are very nice people but in the end I was disappointed with the service and not being helped with my dissatisfaction. I hope this feedback serves to improve their customer experience and prevent similar issues in the future."

"I have never really had a proper haircut so I was very nervous going to a salon to try an actual style instead of blunt cuts to just even out my hair. Dustin and I worked together to talk about what styles would work best for my hair type and length. I really appreciated the feedback to bridge the gap between what I thought I would like and all the potential ways I could achieve my desired look. Dustin is very experienced and I love my haircut! I will definitely be back!"
