"Nice hospital and staff. Billing is awful! Over paid and they credited me for that. Well over a year and a half goes by and I receive a sizable bill. They corrected some mistakes they had found before in the past. Now hear I go again. This has been a regular problem. The bill that continues to grow without warning!"

"I became extremely sick. My sister, who is a respiratory therapist brought me to this hospital at my request. I went back quickly. Waited and waited. By this time I'm in tears bc I had been sick for about 12 hours already. My sister called the nurse to get some kind of pain reliever. Waited and waited. She called again and told them that there was no excuse for me to not have anything for pain when they could at least give me tylenol. Waited some more. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to go to a different ER. My sister started removing the BP monitor when the doctor came in and asked if I wanted to stay. I agreed. I finally received pain medicine a short while later. An ultrasound revealed the problem. I personally will never return to this facility again. I also pray that I never have an emergency situation again, either."

"My first experience in the ER was a very positive one, however being admitted in to the house of horrors is a whole different experience. Nurses make assumptions about conditions you already have been treated for and become hostile when you correct them. The doctors are concerned just enough to get paid. The facilities are terrible. Toilets are inches off the ground and if you are disabled or very elderly you will be exhausted if not injured trying to get up and down. When requesting sores to be taken care of you're met with a "not my job" attitude and you spend hours in agony. My catheter gave my a severe oozing rash from discharge and was never taken care of. I spent days at home healing myself. I have more bruises, hematomas and infections than I can shake a stick at. All I can do at this point besides talk to a lawyer is advise people to avoid this hospital at all costs."

"I went in with severe back pain. I was in tears, couldn't stand without support. Within minutes, I was brought back. When the physician on call came in, he quickly evaluated me and left. The nurse came back with nothing but a mild muscle relaxer, a low dose of Valium and a single lidocaine patch. I expressed concerns that were immediately dismissed. The doctor told me that it was just sciatica and I needed to do some stretches. They wrote STOMACH PAIN on my discharge papers. I am so incredibly disappointed in the service provided and I am still in pain with no answers or relief. I do not recommend anyone using this facility."

"I got COVID in 2021 during the Delta strain. The ambulance took me to Encore and I am glad they did. I was given excellent care. My nurses were awesome. The infectious disease doctors spent time with me to explain my chances for recovery which was 50/50. He told me everything he was doing for me and let me decide if I wanted to be intubated. I chose not to and he honored my wishes. He or one of his partners visited me everyday for the 21 days I was hospitalized. I will be forever grateful to everyone at Encore that helped make my recovery possible. On a side note, the food was excellent as well."
