"What do you expect from a saloon? Good food and friendly service in this case. Visited for Sunday brunch then dinner, both excellent. Spicy bloody Mary was perfect, biscuits and gravy tasted like made from scratch. Omelettes and home fries were great. I also recommend the hamburger steak or grilled chicken, and mashed potatoes for dinner. Servers and hosts were attentive and friendly as well."
"Best burger I have had in awhile. Onion rings are so good, they are the big ones. Fried pickle spears so juicy and crispy. My husband had the loaded mashed potatoes and they were amazing. Fun atmosphere and would enjoy the live entertainment on a weekend."
"Flavor: B Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A Our server was great but the food is not quite noteworthy. The chicken fried steak (recommended by our server) had good flavor but the batter didn’t stick to the steak. The pretzels were too salty. The ranch dressing needs more flavor. There are limited options in the area and I’d guess that this is among the better of them. I would return and try something else next time."
"We are road tripping today and stopped in for lunch. We sat with Rae and she was fantastic! She was friendly and personable and gave great service. She suggested we try the Chicken Fried Steak and it was perfection. We split one and shared the loaded mashed potatoes and fried okra. If you’re undecided on what to get, start with that! You won’t regret it. We hope to be back soon."
"We had an overall good experience on a Sunday. I wish we would have arrived earlier to try the brunch but there was a good lunch and dinner menu. I ordered a cheeseburger (your choice of cheese: American, Swiss, or cheddar) and my partner chose the Saloon Salad. We both enjoyed our meal. I had fries as a side and there are other sides from which you can choose. My partner's salad was large and she found it to be filling. We would choose to come again. The prices are a little high but they do give you a lot of food. The quality of the food is good, we did like our meals, but there was nothing exceptional about it given what you pay. The staff was attentive and we never had an issue getting anything we needed. We both ordered drinks. Our drinks were good. I had a martini and my partner had a margarita. I recommend this place, the interior space is nice. They have a stage and there are large screen televisions where you catch a game.This restaurant would probably be a great place to watch the World Series."
