"Let’s be clear…I love coffee. And I always want to give a nod to those locally roast the golden elixir. But rarely do the confines of small town America provide enough revenue opportunities for both well produced local roast with a legitimately beautiful location…yet somehow The Ouachitas has achieved both. The coffee is great. It was roasting when we got there which always adds to the experience, but they’ve also created a very large space that serves as a high class bar and restaurant later in the evening. So go here. Partake of the goodness…and tip well."
"The Ouachita's was a very neat atmosphere in downtown Mena. I was surprised by how late they are open, they even have live music some evenings. We tried the house coffee and an Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte--WOW. The balance between coffee, milk, and flavoring was spot on. It was not overly sweet and you can still taste the coffee. It was delicious. I wish we were able to try some of the food, but we will be back next time we are in town."
