Saku Saku Hibachi Grill

"I’m a long time customer from since y’all first came to town in the food truck. I love the food, never ever had a problem with it. Still love it, you can’t lie on quality! However, tonight’s experience was my last. I called and ordered my food at 7:38pm, I have my 2 daughters with me so we went and got their pizza before picking up my order since it was closest to home. I was told 10-15 minutes (which usually it is but I never expect it bc I know they’re a busy spot and I’m never dissatisfied with the food). I showed up at 8 and was told it wasn’t ready yet, that more chicken needed to be made. I begin to wait patiently for another 10 minutes and return to be told it still wasn’t ready yet. I only got the chicken and rice.. I proceeded to wait another 10-15 minutes as more people came in and were being served. Finally after my daughters have had enough waiting and were ready to eat their food that was about cold at this point, I politely asked for a refund and told her I don’t even want it anymore. I get being busy, but this just doesn’t sit right on my palate and after years of loyalty, this’ll bring it to a close! Rant over lmao"

"My first time coming here. I felt confused and disoriented when I came in. I had to ask how to order, when to sit, what I needed to do. The staff walked away to do something else while taking my order. I ordered a sushi roll and a shrimp tempura. Two sushi rolls came out. Honest mistake. But I sat and waited for them to bring me the rest of the food I ordered that I asked to have put in a to-go. Long after I was done eating. An employee said “oh did you have a to-go order, it’s ready”. The yum yum sauce was missing. It’s a shame- the food is good. The employees just were overworked or sucked"

"The food is pretty good and hits the fair market value. They do have some specialty items that hits the mark too. This has a small dine in area, but they seem to be thriving with the pick-up orders which may delay the dine in experience. They have a minimal variety meaning they stick to their specialty making the food better. You can watch them make your sushi as well to set your mind at ease for those nay sayers. They have a killer miso soup!"

"Small place, kinda older and very basic inside. None of this matters to me but it may to some people. It seemed pretty clean though. Cashier that took our order was friendly and helpful. We did have to ask for refills or take our cup up and get our own refill. I don’t mind that all but there shouldn’t be a tip jar where you place your order if all the service they pretty much give is bringing the food to the table. Speaking of food, there is plenty of it and it was all good and we all had something different, shrimp, beef, chicken and veggies. We will definitely eat there again."
