"Just recently moved here! I stopped by the family pharmacy next to Walgreens (big one in the parking lot by the clothes store) and am amazed how rude the staff there were. So instead I came here and they have friendly staff and the pharmacist gives great shots! They seemed a little understaffed (I saw one girl running around trying to help multiple customers at once). Overall I enjoy this place and will me getting any medicine and shots done here."

"This is a long one because they have screwed up so much the last few months it's like they've gone mad. The straw that broke the camel's back was how rude and heartless the woman who's worked there for years reacted when they gave my son the wrong prescription which should have never been legally filled. He needs inhalers and pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies really are criminal in how much they charge for life saving medications for my two asthmatic children. I'm paying over $100 a month to Walgreens for years, sometimes more if insurance doesn't cover it. I've been loyal for 7 years to this location. This same woman DOESN'T CARE. Walgreens is worth billions but she refused to refund their fraudulent charge. They filled a nasal spray instead of Albuterol. We ordered their expensive flovent and Albuterol like we do every month. And instead it was a nasal spray that had zero refills and was for an illness my son had years ago. This was ridiculous and shady. That lady won't make a penny more for refusing to fix their mistake and stole money from us. It's criminal. We are in process of switching pharmacies because so much more!!! For weeks and weeks the automated system has harassed me and my Dr to refill a prescription without permission. I need it filled maybe once a month but the automated system harasses my Dr to fill it weekly even though two people in store said they took it off auto fill. One other lady with facial hair and jowels was mean and tried to blame my Dr, as if the automated system got it's poor feelings hurt. So bizarre, truly. My Dr thought I must really need those meds. It's embarrassing. Then I get harassed by the automated system. I blocked texts but needed to know when my kids get meds and let them to continue to harass me by it calling several freaking times per day filling my inbox constantly, it will drive one mad!! It gets worse... No matter what they will never notify me when my daughter's inhalers are filled, only my sons. No matter how many times they test my phone, the automated system has decided to never tell me when my daughter's are in. So if I go up there half the time flovent is out of stock, especially when it's for my daughter. She's had to go over a week many times without proper meds so we try to order early now. It gets worse. Today alone I got two calls from automated system. One said I had meds ready. Another one said I had meds delayed or ready!! What does that mean!?? Really?? It didn't even say a name so I don't know who's meds are or are not ready. Used to it'd say which ones were delayed. So I have to go up there or call and I've really gotten tired of running into the rude underpaid staff that hate life, it's a mixed bag of nuts for sure!! I always tried my best to be kind, patient, understanding and usually go out of my way to see things their way and consider them as human, but sadly half of them are incapable of the same. It gets worse... I have a card I use strictly for a Dr and meds to keep up with cost. My dr has no storing of the card. I allowed Walgreens to store the cards info for faster checkout per their persuasive pushing. Someone has used that card to pay for something over $100 in Hot springs and I have never used it there. I had to cancel my card and suggest nobody store card information with Walgreens. Now, see I have been beyond patient and that petty refusal to refund us for their mistake and her cold smug " I have the power to say no" demeanor, like it was an ego flex. Like I was the problem, I inconvenienced her, she's definitely got a chip on her shoulder and meanwhile they'll lose a loyal customer and I hope she knows we are close to going to food Banks to feed the kids while she looks down on people who are disabled and chronically sick."

"I have been in the store 4 times, 2 of those times I was the only customers in the building. No one spoke to me when I entered, or after being there for more 15 min. both times. I will go again hoping for more friendly service or some service at least."

"This has to be the worst pharmacy on the planet. If you can find what you need you pay 3 times the going price. I tried to buy an eBay prepaid card for $1800.00 with cash and they put a limit of $750.00. Why do they even bother. No matter I will never go to that pharmacy again."

"Best pharmacy in Mena. Grade: A- People at Walgreens are super kind and the wait times are incredible nearly non existent. The only complaints I have is that they are closed on Sundays (which is a real shame) and they close too early most days of the week. Despite those short comings, they reign supreme compared to Walmart and Freedom Pharmacy--both of which have unusually long wait times and staff that don't seem to take pride in their work. I've been using Walgreens for about a year after many years with Walmart and it's such a relief. Wish I started using them ages ago! It's because of my experience with them, that I felt they deserved a review. First pharmacy I've ever given one too but they deserve it. If you are looking for a pharmacy, Walgreens would be a great choice. Just be mindful of their hours and being closed on Sundays. I know for some people, this simply won't do--which is a shame. I hope someday that Walgreens will adjust their pharmacy hours/days of operations to accommodate more folks. They're the best in town yet because of this, lose out on a lot of business. 4.5 stars** out of 5. **Took half a star off for their short weekly hours/being closed Sundays."
