"Terrible experience and customer service. My husband and I received a gift card to The Spa Within as a wedding gift. We were so excited to have a relaxing experience but it turned into a frustrating mess. We tried to pay with the gift certificate at checkout and two employees spent 15-20 minutes trying to figure out how to use the gift certificate, making us feel super uncomfortable. Eventually they said we were good to go. Then three months later they call us and say there was an “issue with our payment” and proceed to charge $250 to my credit card on file (they required a credit card to book to "enforce their cancellation policy"). When I called to get this sorted out, the employee was unhelpful and did not seem to believe me that we paid with a gift certificate and said we “charged the massages to the room” even though we never stayed at The Lodge. Beware - they require a credit card on file to book an appointment and with their sketchy practices you may get charged due to their incompetence. It took one week and three frustrating phone calls of demanding to be refunded before the money was refunded to my account. We also never got an apology, just a bunch of excuses."
"I just had the best massage ever with Christy! Also, Cindy at the front desk and Casey, who did my fabulous pedicure, are both awesome. I highly recommend The Spa Within - it is a completely relaxing experience and their staff are wonderful. Thank you!"
"First visit, Pedi chairs aren't great, not that comfortable. One had issues and wasn't usable, the other the remote for the massage was messed up with broken buttons and hard to turn on. Didn't receive full services I was booked for, had to mention it to the manager at check out and they reduced the cost at least. Got home and had to do some work on my toe nails, there was a catch in one, weren't trimmed like most places do with cuticles. Not sure I'll return for a pedicure again."
