Reviews
"It’s Panera ‘Bread’. So your sandwich is heavy on bread in proportion to what’s inside it. Just what overweight America needs. The bread is chewy. I think it’s supposed to be that way. Service is good. It’s clean. Looks like they use real cheese. It’s ok, but there are a lot of other places I would rather get a sandwich at."
"Happy that this restaurant is here at the hospital as the hospital cafeteria has been under construction and food options are limited. However, since this is at a hospital, many sick and elderly people come here to eat. There is a member of the staff that YELLS VERY LOUDLY the names of orders that are ready for rapid pick-up, and it's very disruptive to the atmosphere. On days when this staff member isn't working, it is a much more enjoyable place to eat as someone isn't yelling throughout my whole meal. There is a screen that has the list of names and orders that are in progress or ready, and it's updated instantaneously - meaning the person yelling is not necessary. Otherwise the rest of the staff are very nice and pleasant, and my food always tastes great."
"Panera Bread, in my experience, has consistently fallen short of its reputation and price point. Let's talk about the pricing first—it's exorbitant for what you receive. A simple sandwich and soup combo can easily set you back $15 or more, which is considerably higher than what you'd pay at other similar establishments. The quality of the food simply does not justify the price. Speaking of quality, Panera's offerings have been consistently underwhelming. The menu boasts healthy and fresh options, but more often than not, the ingredients lack the promised freshness. The vegetables in the salads often seem limp and uninspiring, not reflective of the "crisp and vibrant" description on the menu. The sandwiches, while offering a variety of flavors, tend to lack a wow factor, with combinations that feel pedestrian at best. Moreover, the service at Panera has been lackluster. Orders take longer than expected to be prepared, even during off-peak hours. The staff seems disinterested and sometimes even rude, making the overall dining experience far from pleasant. It's a stark contrast to the impression the chain tries to convey of a welcoming and customer-focused establishment. The atmosphere within the restaurant often leaves much to be desired. It can be overly noisy and chaotic, making it difficult to enjoy a meal or conduct a conversation in a relaxed manner. The seating arrangements can also be cramped, making it less than ideal for a comfortable dining experience, especially during busy hours. In conclusion, Panera Bread disappoints on multiple fronts. The prices are steep, the food doesn't live up to expectations, the service is lacking, and the overall ambiance falls short. Considering the abundant options available in the market, Panera Bread should seriously reconsider its approach to providing value for the money its customers spend."
"This is a Panera within the hospital building. It is nice to have multiple ordering kiosks for self help. Ordering through the kiosks is easy and intuitive. Food is prepared quickly. Tomato basil soup is good especially on a cold winter day to warm things up."
"We always enjoy eating at Panera. Good, healthy, well prepared food served up quickly. The Autumn Squash Soup is my favorite this time of year with salad & baguette. We also love their pizza, salads & macaroni & cheese with bacon."
