"Every time I go there I always get bad customer service. I'm sick and tired of it. The most racist store staff I have ever encountered. Especially all the younger snobby employees. If you are Asian they will discriminate. I'll never support them again. They also price gouge like crazy there. How in the world is a capsule container of 1 inch gulp minnows cost $15 where everywhere else sells for only $5 to $8. Some even have a price tagged for $5.99 but their system registers it for $15 and won't even bother to check for errors on pricing. Instead they gave me a dirty look and attitude. It's not hard to check but nope. They affirm their system is right. Shame on the owners and the staff. Also every time I go there, I notice the white customers are always assisted first and with attention vs Asians. Stand there waiting only to get a cheeky snobby attitude."

"The fly angler, the guy upstairs was smug, if you don't look like a fly fisherman he didn't have time for you, asked a simple question and he seemed very inconvenienced, also he gave me a wrong recommendation now stuck with material that doesn't work. The selection of material is ok their hook selection/brands is left to desire unless you're huge on Umpqua you won't find very many different brands. I drove 45 minutes to shop local and will not be back would rather shop online for what I need. Thorne bros is and has always been great feel bad that they have to have this rating represent them. 5 stars for thorne bros 2 for fly angler ***update*** Thorne Bros made it right, Russ and Thorne Bros were thorough with finding out the situation, they truly want the best customer service and experience whether that is online or in person which is what I've experienced before with Thorne Bros this situation seemed like a one off case and will continue shopping with Thorne Bros back to 5 stars where it should be!"

"Went in to get a single Clam Corporation body wearable sled towing harness on Monday 2/19/24 "Presidents Day" and of course they had one in stock and also being the local nearby home tackle shop I typically go to, I bought it, but unfortunately found out the next day after paying 100% full retail "MSRP" for a item of ice fishing gear not discounted in any way at the near end of the 2024 ice fishing season that in reality never came to this local region where all available ice fishing gear is "on sale" and also found out that more than one local retailer within 10 miles away had it in stock for nearly 20% - 30% off on a "Presidents Day" sale as well as several other on-line retailers have it for nearly 40% off on sale which would have saved me nearly over 20 dollars off MSRP! The non-existent customer service here surely does not warrant paying full price for an item you have to search the entire store for alone when two employees are to busy stocking or re-setting product to be bothered to help and also when its at the end of its usage window. Will be finding a new local tackle shop!"
