"Service was excellent. I had the breakfast sandwich and fruit, my companion had bacon, eggs and toast. We both had orange juice. It was all very tasty. The waiter was responsive and took good care of us."

"I wish we could give half stars. This is a solid 4.5. Service is always above average and normally excellent. Solid food at a good value.. Lovely patio, but parking can be hard to find. I do wish they had more healthy, like organic and or vegetarian options. Love the vibe of this place and the people."

"If you're looking for a family diner type place with an eclectic flair, in an unassuming location, this is the place. Ordered two "early bird specials". Almost all of it came out piping hot which is all one can expect, eh? Except for the sausage, that was room temp. Our mistake was ordering plain-jane breakfast options that can't really be unique from place to place so we didn't have the "wow factor". What was hot, however, was very good. French toast was exceptional. Coffee (Dunn Bros) was exceptional. Service was great."

"Really cool spot in SP, with beautiful brick architecture and a zen garden like patio. Beware of the bees when it’s that time of year! They are plentiful, the staff will def warn you. Food was solid, I think our sever was having an off morning ( or had long night ;)..) she’s was nice but made some odd decisions. Lots of options and specials. Coffee is pretty basic but she a nice iced latte for us!"

"Stopping here was my treat after a visit to the dentist (no Novocain). I had cheesy hash browns with egg and Bobby had the buckwheat pancakes, full stack. My English muffin came nicely crisp, just as I had ordered (I think Day by Day is the only breakfast place that manages to do a crisp one) and the egg, perfect as well. A side of half bacon, half sausage offered tasty full-flavored meats we quite enjoyed. The buckwheat pancakes with blueberries were massive and delicious. Service here is extraordinary. We ate on the patio which has a delightful ambience with a goldfish pond, plantings, and sculpture. This is a quirky, fun, and delicious breakfast and lunch stop. Do try it."
