"Celebrating a 50th birthday thought it would be nice and have an after dinner drink and have been to the commons tasting room before and had a really good time so we showed up at 9:15 and they had just closed when there advertised closing was 10 with limited times that they are open why close early and if they are going to close early why post a closing time? It is just going to make it hard to get excited to go back if your not sure if they are going to be open or not! We have since been back to the commons tasting room and have had great experiences it has a very cool vibe that we totally enjoy! My original post was almost 5 years ago and I don’t feel like you don’t really care about my feed back if it takes you 5 years to respond."
"We found this place online and the excellent reviews are absolutely true. We were extremely impressed with this quaint but beautifully appointed bar and restaurant. The menu is small but what they turn out is very well executed. The flavors of the meatballs were good, the sugar needed a little more flavor and balance but was still very good. The escargot were very good, maybe a little less cheese and slightly more parsely/butter sauce is needed. The cocktails are creative and very well executed. The atmosphere is what elevates this place, lovely patio with ornamental lighting and inside is modern and chic."

"Our experience here during the pandemic was outstanding. Our server wore a mask, and the outdoor tables were spaced out. The young man from Lincoln, NE on the acoustic guitar provided great ambiance. The Dr. Manhattan cocktail with blueberry bitters was excellent, and the charcuterie tray and pork tacos were delicious. We will return next time in Okoboji!"
