Valvoline Instant Oil Change

"I use Valvoline for my fleet of buses. Chaska location is always the slowest. I sat in line (2nd in line) for an hour, as 3 people inside tried to figure out how to install wipers on the vehicle inside. Once it was my turn, I had to instruct the CSR how to pull up my fleet account (he claimed I NEEDED to have a folder or a credit card...). It appeared that of the 5 people working there, the female was only allowed to guide cars in and small talk, while the manager(?) just kept trying to make everything that was said a one liner 90s song ("say my name say my name", "369 damn she fine"). Then he told me it looked like my bus had whiskers like a cat as I was leaving. Definitely won't be back."

"Previous visits have been great but this time the employee insisted on me buying the synthetic oil change insisting anything else was against the manufacturer spec. Funny thing was while I was waiting they came out to ask what kind of oil the vehicle took (because of inventory issues) so I checked the manual and it called for a synthetic blend so that is what I asked for even though he insisted. He was rude and clearly unhappy I did not buy synthetic even though his recommendation was incorrect for the manufacturers suggested oil. The most ridiculous thing was he demanded I sign a piece of paper saying that I was aware I was going against recommendations from the manufacturer and when he handed me the paper there was not a place to sign. It felt like this was just him trying to force an upsell probably out of Valvoline procedures. This was a frustrating experience and while other employees have been great this is the one I will remember."

"With the cold weather the lines have been long but the wait is not so bad. Once you're in they get to work. I like the fact that they don't try to force upsells on you."

"Went in to get my oil changed and left with my skid plate dragging on the ground. Called in twice to let them know and was hung up on the first time."

"I gave a 2 star because while I was there during my oil change everyone seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. After leaving my vehicle had an oil leak, I had thought possibly just spilt oil somewhere that was dripping off. I found out they had twisted something too tightly during my oil change and busted the oil filter housing/oil cooler which caused a lot of issues and a HUGE financial spend on my end because they won’t stand behind their work and fix their mess up. I never had a drop of oil leak from my vehicle before this visit. No leak was noted prior to this visit or at the valvoline I went to for the oil change prior to this visit also didn’t note any leaks or issues with my vehicles. I have tried talking with Tyler the manager who had pushed me off and never reached back out until I called a week after he said he would let me know what’s going on. I then was told the one photo a manager at a different location took from above my vehicle wasn’t enough to show the damage they did. I then reached out to corporate to get this figured out and fix their mess up, instead I was told I would hear back within 24 business hours. I hadn’t heard anything back from corporate for more than 40 business hours at this point. I do not recommend this location. I have never had issues with a valvoline before (I use valvoline during the winter when I’m too lazy to change my own oil) and this visit completely baffles me.
