"I opened my checking account in early 2019. I've never had any issues lage fees or penalties against me. On June7th2020 my debit card was declined at cvs getting ashma medicine. and I couldn't log onto my online banking from my phone. The atm would not give me cash. I called and was informed my account was being closed due to Unauthorized deposits.... No deposits were Unauthorized. I have my direct deposit from the state of AZ for unemployment. My gfs unemployment was directly deposited as well. Bank of American made no effort to inform me, ask any questions or notify me until June 17 2020 is when I received my letter via mail. Saying my account was being closed and to stop all payments.... I called and asked for answers as to why. They only could say there is a investigation underway that will take some time and I can expect a cashiers check with the remaining funds to be sent out.... I wont go into detail about my aps payment being rejected. And now I'm late and owe fees. Gf can't get medication Car payments Online orders, etc. What I'm most upset about is in the user agreement terms and conditions. It does NOT state anywhere that I can't have someone else's direct deposit weekly az state pay deposited into my account. Other than us i have deposited to checks that were not addressed to me but the payee did write pay to the order of... I've called. Emailed. In person. They all say there is an investigation. Okay fine do your investigation. But shouldn't u do that first? Why did you freeze my funds and close my account for almost 2 weeks now on a hunch? Seems unprofessional and illegall. I have all documents and recorded phone calls and mail letters to prove all of the above."
